Properties:

A piece of nontoxic foam plastic or foam rubber, plain or coated with surgically compatible type of adhesive, designed for use as a cushion, to prevent or relieve bedsores, to relieve pressure on a wound, as a cushion for an amputee stump, and like hospital situations. Other uses are to line shoes in treatment of foot conditions, under braces, for wheelchair padding, and the like. Excludes padding, cast-splint, orthopedic and bandage, traction, orthopedic.
