Properties:

An item which is a component part of the fixation kit for use in oral-maxillofacial, bi-phase pin fixation surgical procedures. Used with clamp, sliding, oral-maxillofacial surgery and screw block, cranial, oral-maxillofacial surgery to serve as a temporary mechanical splint when attached to the mandible with two bone screws. If a shorter item is needed, use rod, transverse, oral-maxillofacial surgery. Excludes rod, traction, oral-maxillofacial surgery.
