The jbs/ris program is incorporating a 6u sized transportable transit case into the jbs-tsc-13 (v4)a system providing a more rapid deployment technological solution for secure or non-secure voice, secure data, and remote communications via one or two radios utilizing the hf, vhf, and uhf dama/satcom modes. This solution allows radio circuits and laptops to create a radio over internet protocol (roip) network. This change has transitioned the existing jbs-tsc-135(v4) a system up to the highest level of roip technology and allows future technology insertion efforts to be implemented via software updates
