The brandywine communications precision time system (model pts) is an economical and reliable time and frequency unit that offers high performance and a wide range of features. The pts provides time and frequency outputs accurate to < 40 ns rms to utc (usno) and 1x10-12 respectively. The pts is a new generation of the network appliance that allows full remote control and monitoring via a web browser based interface. The pts is designed to be used as a single or dual redundant configuration, in conjunction with one of brandywine communications. Distribution amplifiers, such as the ftsu-200. Applications for the pts include central time and frequency systems, satellite earth stations, military communication systems, and high availability network time servers. The pts includes an internal rubidium oscillator that is used as the internal frequency standard, which drives all time and frequency outputs.
