The clip-on thermal image (coti)(an/pas-29a) is a thermal imaging system that provides a capability to view a thermal imaging scene while wearing a night vision goggle(nvg).The coti image is displayed through the front objective of the nvg and is viewed within the nvg eyepiece. The coti has 2x zoom capability, image capture capability, update of compass calibration capability (in the menu structure) , and usb auto-detect. The coti monocular is weapon mountable and able to survive weapon shock. The monocular system is fielded with an electronic compass
